The hotel is situated along the main route E 59 from Prague to Vienna, in the southern part of the town of Znojmo.

On the rocky headland above the Dyje river, on the crossing of ancient routes, there rises a castle which gave origin to Znojmo, promoted to a town by Premyslid Otakar I in 1226.
