The hotel is situated along the main route E 59 from Prague to Vienna, in the southern part of the town of Znojmo.
On the rocky headland above the Dyje river, on the crossing of ancient routes, there rises a castle which gave origin to Znojmo, promoted to a town by Premyslid Otakar I in 1226. History emanates from every corner of the old part of the town. Although the St. Catherine's Rotunda is the most valuable monument, the Town Hall Tower has become the symbol of the town, forming its characteristic silhouette together with the St. Nicholas' Church. Znojmo is proud of its wide range of monuments, including churches and a Premonstraterian Monastery in Louka, as well as Renaissance merchant houses with a labyrinth of underground passages.
The surroundings of Znojmo will attract you its Podyjí National Park, which ranks among the most enchanting jewels of preserved nature in the Central Europe. The canyon of the Dyje river winds through deep forests and romantic moors which will overwhelm you with their beauty.
Visit Znojmo and you will never forget it. The countryside is calm and romantic, a pure beauty of virgin nature with a tint of the olden times.
